Hello Map the System (MtS) Alum!
This study, conducted by researchers from Thompson Rivers University, explores how participating in MtS may influence alumni after the competition ends. By speaking with MtS alumni from different countries and years of participation, the study aims to understand whether and how the experience has influenced the way participants approach complex problems, engage with systems thinking, or shaped their educational and career paths.
The findings will contribute to a better understanding of the educational impact of the MtS competition and may help inform future learning opportunities for students and alumni. Results may be presented at academic conferences and may be published in a peer-reviewed journal. Participants may request a summary of the study findings once the research is complete.
To do this, we will be using a Draw/Talk Protocol, which involves mapping. To learn more about this method and the project, please watch the video below.
